Guys, thanks for the well-wishes. Tomorrow, Thursday morning, I'm going in for some of what is supposed to be band aid surgery. I'm reticent to go into a lot of detail on the web, but I should be in and back out as soon as the sedatives wear off. I'm gonna need to take it easy for a few days, then back to work on light duty for a few weeks. The only thing that is a big deal is that it's always a big deal when a doctor comes at you with a knife and the intention of putting a hole in you with it.

Woohoo! Take the pain pills, relax, and enjoy some down time. Glad you're doing well, Picker.

Boy howdy, tough night! I feel like I was stabbed in the stomach...oh wait, I was stabbed in the stomach. facepalm

Band aid surgery? Call me a wimp, but God save me for the full-on version! Standing up and sitting down are painful undertakings. Even rolling over in bed hurts, and coughing? No no no...

One of my cats leaped onto my stomach to receive the scratching behind the ears it usually gets when it does. They seemed so light before this...

More pain pills, more sleep, and the cats are going to the other side of a closed bedroom door.
