I did a search and didn't seem to find a topic like this, so let's see some pics of your studio and/or live rig! I'll start: My various rigs with my former band, BeyondBlue My current live rig with various bands... I was in the middle of programming it when this pic was taken. And to round it out, a studio shot from tracking keyboards for my original band, (The Juice) Your turn...

MAN ALIVE! How's the Midiboard treating you? I had to trade mine for a Keystation 88 because while the action was in my mind, the best I've ever played, it was just too damn heavy for gigging! I miss it dearly.

All that great gear and he's got some old piece of crap computer monitor!! Yeah but will your flatscreen monitor support pictures and flower pots? Looks like it could be some kind of sequencing software. Windows For Workgroups 3.11 circa 1993 running Cakewalk Pro Audio 3.5. It's old, it ain't broke, I ain't gonna fix it. Plus the MIDI latency is near zero for those old WFW drivers. Don't need digital audio or plugins, I got all that in hardware.

I miss it dearly. Still going strong. Stopped gigging with it not because of the weight but because there hasn't been a situation since then to warrant a MIDI rig. I *love* the action and will never sell it. Still haven't found a controller as good.

And I thought I was using outdated gear with my 2005 laptop and Sonar..

I occasionally fire up my Mac Classic running Performer on System 6.7. 4 Meg ram, 40 Meg HD. As long as it's just MIDI, it does everything I need.

(...but not exactly portable, is it?) Would you believe I carted that keyboard setup - before I had the Oberheims and Taurii - to AHMW2000? At least I had Anvil cases for everything.
