Dude that looks like it could be a LOT of fun

You should tell that guy to get an attenuator or something for that amp. Have you tried Cornell amps before?
Grey'- you remember the link I sent you, to Teahead's SoundClick 'page? Same guy, and many of the clips there were done with various Cornell amps. In time, I'm sure that he'll get some clips of this one on there, as well.
I thought that maybe a Cornell "Legacy" might suit you, enough to satisfy you in lieu of that other AC30-inspired amp that you loved but might not be able to find...
Now, he's had several attenuators, but he bought it from the guy who found it to be too loud for his situation, that's how he scored it; he's not the one with a problem with the amps loudness.
He's also got a Vox AC30TBX already- sportin' a pair of Celestion AlNiCo Blues- and this Cornell may well replace it once he's had a chance to really A/B 'em.
He may have Dennis Cornell upgrade it to his power tube reduction scheme (being able to select running 1, 2, or 4 EL84s), so an attenuator might not be necessary for him.
And he's already got an 18 watt Cornell "Plexi", and a tweedy Cornell "Romany Plus" that runs a single 6L6 output-tube at either 10 watts, 1.5, 0.3, or 0.05 watts (!) so he's covered for the relatively low-volume tube amp deal, not to mention a budding collection of Cornell amps- he seems to like them!
