Just thought it would be fun to see what some of you are doing for Halloween. I'll have some fun pics after the gig tonight. I'm pretty surprised at how close my actual costume came to my Photoshop'd avatar.

I got no pics but had a great gig with plenty of crazy folks dressed up.

Here's a couple from before leaving for the show. The gf went as Beyonce. grin

Awkward prom pose:

This is just easier than bag-snatching...eating the candy before the kids get their grubby little hands on it.

I'm waiting for band mates and friends to post pics from the actual show. A friend of my drummer showed me a pic on her camera of her and the real Lemmy so we took a similarly staged shot.

Also, some of the better costumes from Friday night's gig:

The one night( )stand

Dunkin'

Granny...who personified the "Booty Vortex"...she had a stuffed dog stuck in her wedgie as if she had sat on it and posted a sign near the door for a lost dog.

I recycled a costume from 2 years ago. I showed that chicken who was boss:

Nice. We had a tenor sax sub who was dressed like a chicken with a big plush hand around his neck. Yuckyuckyuck.

I don't do Halloween costumes, but here's Willy. Hey! What's the point of having a wiener dog if you can dress him up like a hot dog for Halloween?

A couple action shots from a fan:

The guitar player dressed up as himself in college...and his shirt says "Franky says RELAX."

...and here's the choke the chicken costume:

You guys are adorable.

I only have lousy pictures of Xavier in his costume--we were too busy cracking up at his antics to get good shots.

Here is Xaviertron the Robot with his buddy, Benton, who is obviously a giraffe. Because giraffes and robots are always friends in nature. I saw that on the National Geographic channel.

And X and Benton were smart enough to bring comfortable outfits to wear after trick or treating... here we have Xavier the skeleton (because robots have skeletons under their metal skin) chilling with his pumpkin pal.

My wife was a character from Stargate SG-1. I have no idea what that is, nor do I know what character she was, but she drew a symbol on her forehead and wore a drapey cloak thing. Apparently her outfit was accurate, because geeky boys kept telling her she looked great. I only punched one of them.

I didn't wear a costume--you don't cover this kind of sexxxayness with a costume.

A few years back I dressed up as Avril Lavigne. The bra I wore (stuffed with kitchen towels) was killing me plus old guys kept calling me "Tina" (as in Turner) and trying to hit on me, so I decided to forgo costume-wearing from that moment on.

Sadly (or luckily), no pictures exist of that evening grin

Maybe you should have forgone crossdressing rather than costumes alltogether.

Well, we kind of dress up all the time - wigs, skinny ties, etc. So this year, since we were playing on Halloween, we decided to dress up like our dressed up selves dressing up - if that makes sense!

Me (keys, vocals, sax, R. Guitar)....

As Mike Score from Flock of Seagulls

Our Guitar Player.....

As Axl Rose from Guns 'n' Roses

Our Bass Player....

As Paul Stanley from Kiss

Our Drummer....

As Dee Dee Ramone from, well, the Ramones

and Our Singer....

As Cher

My favorite Family Halloween Pic of me and my daughter from Halloween 2007 - I was more or les my band self, and she was Dee Dee Doodle from the Doodlebops:

God.. I can't believe how much bigger she is in just 2 years! She was a bride this year... I'm in trouble!
