Hi - recently I decided after doing a lot of reading on this site to go after making my own absorbers as many of you have done.

I live in Santa Fe, NM - has anyone in the area (Albuquerque or Santa Fe) either:

1. bought Owens Corning 703 FRK or 705 FRK insulation and has excess that they are looking to sell
2. Found a source to buy the insulation in smaller lots

my recent query to Home Depot in Santa Fe returned a much large shipment size that what I need for this project, driving the cost up over what it would cost to buy a room kit from GIK and have it shipped here to santa fe.

your help is greatly appreciated!

You can see if you have a SPI in your area.

I already checked that. No SPIs anywhere near him.
