The Harmony database doesn't show a 1085 amp. Are you sure you have the right number?

Thanks Jack, I know! I should be getting the amp today or tomorrow. That is the number supplied by the seller. It's a low watt practice amp with 2 inputs, volume, tone, which is the on/off switch and a tremolo. It has an 8 inch speaker. I'll take the back off when I get it and see what I can find. Thanks for checking.

No sweatinski, brah. My actual handle here is picker, the "Jack the" part is just for Halloween. Let us know when it arrives.

My experience with the Harmony amps is limited.... I think that I've only seen two, one about the sized you describe, and one big one. They did not really do anything for me as they sat, but with all the pedals and multieffects devices everyone seems to use today, it might not matter.

I think they're simple solid state practice amps from the 60's and 70's. This one appeared to be in mint shape and it has a tremolo. I like the looks, and if it turns out to be a turd, I'll change the speaker and use it as a cabinet for my VJ head. I only paid $33 on the Bay for it. I have incurable GAS!!!!!

Well, got the amp. It appears to be from the mid 80's. Near perfect condition. One 8 inch 5 watt speaker! The SS amp must be 3 to 5 watts. Large 16 inch by 13 inch by 6 inch cabinet, so it sounds spacious. Nice tremolo and nice crunchy sound when turned up. Alone it sounds ok. More musical than a couple of 10 watt practice amps I have. Bill was right. I put a Digitech RP50 in front of it and it sounds really nice. Cream colored face plate and 60's styling. A good score. I smile when I look at it. I lost my sister to cancer a week ago, and needed a smile. She sent this to me.
