Hey, what have you been playing around with that's been fun, cool, an eye/ear-opener, even inspiring? Any cool pedals, or new- to you- pedal combinations and settings?
For example, I've been absolutely fixated on using a Foxrox Octron going into a Radial Tonebone Plexitube together, along with a Maniac Music Sustainiac gizmo
(not the pickup-style driver) providing controlled feedback. A phase-shifter completes the whole chimeraic tonegasm, but isn't absolutely necessary.
I'm lovin' the touchy-feely reactive response of this combination; playing "sliding-sixths" double-stops fingerstyle high up on the 1st and 3rd or 2nd and 4th strings, brushing the strings with a just-right upstroke elicits fat yet shimmering tones somewhere between EVH's
"Dance the Night Away" and that of a touch-tone phone's buttons. Love it!

Here's the whole signal-chain (the SV2 acting more as a noise-gate here than as a "swell" effect):
LP neck-pickup
(volume slightly tweaked back) > Sustainiac
> Octron
> Guyatone SV2
> Plexitube "Rhythm" Ch 1
> DigiTech GNX4 fat/warm/Jazzy clean tube-amp-model based on the "Pat Jazz"-preset w/ compression, subtly "ducked" ping-pong analog-flavored echo timed just-right, reverb, and an on-board model of an MXR Phase 90.
If anyone's interested, I'll post a very short mp3 clip when I can.
How 'bout youse guys?
