I can’t understand what the Behringer EuroRackPro manual means about its MON OUT SEND output.

Manual says:

“The monitor signal can be taken at the MON OUT SEND connector. It is just as well –suited for being used with effects application.”

The fact is that I’m planning to use this mono output to connect to a subwoofer but I’m not sure if the connection could be used to send signal to a sub…

Any thoughts?
Thanks very much.

Yes no problem.

The MON OUT will send a monaural signal comprised of whatever you've mixed to the MON on the individual channels.

If your subwoofer system has proper low-pass crossovers, then your subs will do fine receiving this output.

Mon ≠Mono (although it is in this case) it's short for monitor. It's a PRE FADER send designed for onstage monitors.

Yes it will work for subs, but it will be prefader, and very clumbersome to use for this purpose.
