I'm assembling a composing studio around PT LE v8, and was planning on installing TASCAM's GigaStudio to hold/trigger my sample libraries. Evidently, TASCASM recently sold off that mighty fine piece of work to god-knows-who. Any news on this? Any substitute suggestions? I haven't worked w/MIDI for eons, so I'm out of the loop. razz

Well, if you are not locked into Pro Tools, Samplitude has a pretty nice light version of Yellow Tools Independence built in. More info here:

Gary Garritan bought all of the Gigastudio assets, but I guess it remains to be seen what that actually means for the future... you can read more about it here.

I just got a hold of Kontakt 3 to convert my Giga libraries.
