Here's the product listing info as it appeared when this bass was sold online:
"This premium ash-bodied P Bass is a stunning piece of Fender handiwork. The bass's graphite-reinforced maple neck has a modern C shape. Appointments include deluxe Lite-Bass tuning machines, a chromeplated bridge that permits string-thru or top-loading, a new design split single-coil pickup (mid position), and a humbucker at the bridge. The Fender Precision Bass also has 3-band active EQ with master volume and a pan pot for pickup blend. Great looking, great sounding, and highly dialable. Includes hardshell bass case."
This bass has been discontinued by Fender.
This particular instrument features:
-maple fingerboard
-mother of pearl inlays
-montego black finish
-gold colored pickguard
-staggered precision pickup (neck position)
-humbucking soapbar pickup (bridge position)
-bass boost/cut
-treble boost/cut
-variable midrange boost/cut
-master volume
-pickup selector pan pot
The instrument plays great, sounds great and looks very sharp. The B-string sounds tight and focused. Body has some minor cosmetic dings. I'm selling it because it's just not my sound anymore.
I'd prefer to do a semi-local deal where I don't have to ship the instrument.
