Since you'll be covering the current generation of DAWs next issue, I was wondering if you might give Reaper a good going over. For a long time I've been curious what the Keyboard team would make of it.

Sorry, thought this was the Keyboard Forum. Not a bad subject for EQ though.

Actually we're not doing Reaper or Tracktion, we ran out of space. But Reaper a nice little app that does what most people need.

Anderton - I read your article under Gear Head, "The Great Big DAW Roundup" May issue of EQ magazine. I am a REAPER user and created a thread in the Reaper forum that simply expressed my disappointment that REAPER was not included. However, this is not to say I was disappointed in the article content - well written and to the point.

But, as you mentioned that REAPER was not included because of space was an assumption I had concluded among other reasons. Anyway I encourage you to read my thread in the Reaper forum.

Some of the comments tend to be rather interesting and others are non-productive in what I consider should be a healthy debate, never the less take a read - thx

edit - I look forward on your response..

I posted a lengthy reply in there. I basically said we shook down Cocos for $100K and when they didn't pony up, we left them out of the review.

KIDDING!!!
