Wow very cool place. Glad I found this BBS. I guess for starters, I would like to share some of my new music from my latest CD called Transition. Its an all instrumental guitar album. I have 2 songs posted on myspace from my newest CD called "Hero" and "Reflections". Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Neal Nagaoka http://www.myspace.com/nealnagaoka

Thanks Neal Nagaoka http://www.myspace.com/nealnagaoka Hi Neal Love your playing! you`ve got some major technical skill going on. If I may make a comment, it seems like the pieces I heard (first 4 and part of 5th) are more showcases for your soloing-that may be your purpose. With your obvious level of skill it would be nice to hear a curveball or two arrangement-wise, the first cut in particular kind of wanders. Still lots of fun to listen to-I would like to hear a little of that raging melodic energy diverted to some cool compositions, other than that can`t add a thing.

This is the band that dissolved last summer. It was fun and original. Quantum Soup The recordings are very rough - the drummer had a Teac 24 and was left to his own devices.

I uploaded 15 almost new Bluezz Bastardzz live videos to our MyspaceTV and YouTube channels: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.channel&channelid=120299811http://www.youtube.com/user/bluezzbastardzzThey were shot at the open air cover band festival in Hamburg-Moorburg on July 25th, 2008 and at the Fehmarn Festival Group Christmas party in Hein & Bea's barn on the isle of Fehmarn on Nov 24th, 2007. Most of them are ZZ Top cover songs, the rest are songs from German artists like Rodgau Monotones, Bauer, Garn & Dyke, Herwig Mitteregger or Marius Müller-Westernhagen. All of them were done with my usual live setup which includes a Mesa Boogie Mark IIb 60w head with a self-built EVM-12L Thiele cab and my 1984 Tokai LS60 Les Paul copy with Gibson Shaw PAFs.

Great chops, killer Wah tone, nice range of flexibility, from snarly, in your face shreddy to smooth, tasteful jazzy textures. I'm sure the visual presentation of your skills at a live venue conveys much more than what we can just hear in this medium.

I really like the way you incorporate "chicken pickin'" into an upbeat funk groove. Great virtuosity shown, and it drives home the point that a clean Tele sounds like no other guitar. In fact, I can't even imagine Repeat O'Fender sounding as good with anything else. Great job!

Thanks Neal Nagaoka http://www.myspace.com/nealnagaoka You can hang with any shredder out there, but I find your ballading signiature more distinctive. I could hear one of those again and think :Hey, isn't that Neal Nagaoka? But eveyone's full tilt shredding starts to sound generic, including mine. BTW, I find Satch's ballads more listenable than his metal ventures too, so you're in good company. Love your tone!

Would anybody be interested in checking out my EP? Its alot of guitar Let me know what you think of production, song structure , melodic development.. ect ect .. thanks alot http://www.reverbnation.com/kennymclaughlin Great tone and production, true mastery of smoothness and feel. Your smooth pieces paint a picture. The rushed ones, while well executed, resemble other well executed shredding, and don't rise to the top. Your smooth material is very pleasing. Don't get me wrong - nobody enjoys full out wailing more than I do, but that's better served up live, and I couldn't get your vids to load. I totally respect the seamless flow in your playing.

Nice production, listening to last page first. Cool tune. Nice job. Thanks. I've listened to your stuff a couple of times when I come here (clicking the link in your sig file) and it's cool stuff. You guys get into some grooves that remind me of the rootsy bands in New Orleans.
