As the owner of tons of vintage keys, a Nord Stage, and many vintage plugins, I would love to see a Virtual Transistor Organ. I think GForce should take this on and model it like their Vintage String Machine.

We have many great Hammond tonewheel emulations, and MOTUs Electric Keys sounds similar but isn't very deep in transistor organs and their controls.

Under one instrument let's have faithful versions of:
Farfisa - Compact, FAST, etc.
Vox - Continental, Jaguar
Gibson/Kalamazoo G101
RMI - Roxichord, 368
Yamaha - CP series
Wurlitzer
some of those crazy Garth Hudson organs!

Think of all the Genesis and Doors heads alone that would want this.

Been done already.

Look into Combo Sister.

With today's VSTs, you can assemble whatever instruments you want into a hardware player for live use, or a computer for studio.

Thanks, Combo Sister looks like a good start. I would like more control over envelopes. I'm really after a great virtual Gibson G101 and RMI 368. I have samples in Kontakt and they're not doing it for me. To have more control over decay times to get that cheap electronic piano sound would be nice.

Not sure why you're including electro-acoustic pianos in the same category as transistor organs.

I love Combo Sister and MUCH prefer it to B4 II's transistor organ models, but it's a bit quirky, as are all the NuSofting products. Most of them have no manuals, and some have no presets (e.g. Peti). I make my own anyway, but a manual would still help.

Peti can be used for reed organs, harmoniums, accordions, and some transistor organs (many prefer it for Farfisas, while using Combo Sister for Vox models and Elka models).

I'm surprised how good the Gibson organ is in the MOTIF series -- especially the custom voices programmed by Dave Polich for his Vintage Keys library. But nevertheless, I use Combo Sister in the studio.

No, everything I'm talking about is transistor based. There is a Wurlitzer Combo Organ which model number eludes me...and I'm talking about Yamaha CP-10, CP-11 - I've played them before and they sound very RMI like. I should have specified NOT Wurliter 200-A, Yahama CP-70, CP-80...

The RMI Electrapiano & Harpsichord 368 is basically an organ with piano-like decay tabs. I know, I have one.

I have the Gibson G101 Vintage Keys library, but no Motif - I use them in Kontakt. Lots of time with editing to dial in those Manzarek sounds, and I'm looking for more real-time control like I'm used to with Nord Stage, NI B4, etc.

If you know the interface of GForce's VSM or MTron Pro, that's more what I'm thinking. A mixture of specific samples from various transistor keyboards, with a variety of tabs, drawbars, ADSR, filters, and effects.

If you have a real RMI, can't you just record that? Or are you looking for something for live use?

BTW, as long as we are wishing, I would like a virtual Farfisa Professional. I bought one brand new in the 70's and it was quite versatile.
