Sui
I'm looking to add some mastering tools to my Mac-based DAW which is a MOTU 2408mkII core system and wanted to see some user opinions on MAS, VST, and TDM formats (all of which I can or have the option to use). What's good? What sucks? And why? Thanks.. rebonn
I'd have a hard time living without Dynasone. It's cheap too. $149. www.blairsdevillestudios.com

Joachim P. Dyndale
Hmm... I wasn't aware of the fact that the last major version of ProTools was over 2 years old when the latest came! Alndln
TimeWorks or TL EQ(transparent/colored),depending on what's needed.Stereo spread(in Wavelab),Sometimes gentle limiting from DB Audioware Mastering limiter or Blockfish(free comp). The Waves Masters Bundle is really nice and much better than the gold bundle for mastering, especially the Lin EQ broadband, but I'm getting great results without them with the above mentioned items, and I don't miss Pace in the least. Bunny Knutson
I've been enjoying the Waves C4 multiband compressor lately. I use it to get a really fat low end with a nice, shiney high end. Multiband compression is dope! Depending on the type of music, the L1 comp can be good, too. Especially with heavy music. https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
