Add me to the list! Not only will I wear it to church, I'll tell everybody in the congregation, from the platform, why I'm wearing it. My pic will include my pastor, who'll be all over this!

Whenever it gets to the UK, let all the UK folks pass it around. Phil, Seamy, etc. No point in paying for that many pond-jumps.

You're a smarter man than I am, Tom ... AND it seems I missed a few posts ... Here's the deal: the shirt is on its way to Paul K for the moment.

All US residents that have shown interest so far are:

Paul K
Bumpcity
Jlrush
Bottomgottem
Brocko777
flemtone
saxofunk !
jar546
mattulator
Tom Capasso
LowTones11 (I overlooked you in the original planning)
Jeremy C
Chad

If we want to keep it simple, these people should either get organised between themselves as to who will get it when - because I have NO clue about US geography - OR send it in the above order.

Next up would then be Kramer, who is located in New Zealand I believe.

Euro-residents (all England / Ireland) are:

Phil W (England)
SeamyD (Ireland)
TimR (England - I overlooked you in the original planning)

Sooooo the easiest course of action is :

(1) it's on its way to the States, so let the 13 current LD members have a go at it first.
(2) IF more US residents want to join in the madness AND do so before Chad gets the shirt, then we'll prolong the US tour of the shirt, for convenience's sake
(3) IF more US residents want to join in the madness BUT do so after the shirt has been shipped to Kramer (New Zealand), they will have to wait for the European tour of the leg to close.

(3) would imply that, if more people from Europe want to join in, in the meantime, they would get first dibs over having the shirt sent back to the US and then back to Europe again.

Everyone ok with that ?

US location doesn't matter so much. If you send it first class, it'll get to someone in one or two days on the same coast, two or three on the opposite coast.

Anybody from the Southeast US yet? Send it to me here in Tennessee. It has to go to Music City!

Yes. Actually only took a few days to get to Belgium from Pennsylvania.

Since 0-9's Lowdown Project seems to have been a bust (reference to the "rack-mounted" Behringer BDI semi-intended), I might as well sign up for this bit of fun. Send it to Baltimore when someone gets a chance!

Okay, since I've been put in charge of this little project, I'm gonna make a decision here ...

The last three American citizens to get the shirt will be thabottomend, NUTT and Danzilla. Anyone from the US who signs up after Danzilla will have to wait for the Euro-Lowdowners, and if more people from Europe sign up along the way, they'll get it before it goes back to the US. I hope everyone can live with this arrangement ? It's only fair to the UK / Ireland Lowdowners, since they signed up before some of the others \:\)

Danzilla, this does not necessarily mean that you will be the one who will send it to Kramer in New Zealand, as I will let you US guys decide amongst yourselves who sends it to whom.

So this is the US leg of the tour:

Paul K
Bumpcity
Jlrush
Bottomgottem
Brocko777
flemtone
saxofunk (!)
jar546
mattulator
Tom Capasso
LowTones11
Jeremy C
Chad
thabottomend
NUTT
Danzilla

The last one on this list to get it, sends it to Kramer, who sends it on to the UK leg of the tour:

Phil W (England)
SeamyD (Ireland)
TimR (England)

Disclaimer: If along the way, the shirt gets sent to MORE US residents than currently planned, I can obviously do nothing about this \:\) BUT what would be neat is if we could get it going across Europe a while (and not just England / Ireland), then send it back to the US for another few gigs and finally get it back to Ross Brown \:D

Looks like quite a world tour.

I hope the sniffing dogs at customs don't tear into it... or keel over!

What makes me wonder is how, in the first place, the shirt went from Pennsylvania to Belgium!! So it would be indeed a world tour!!

So far, I don´t see any South American country included.. so if long time waiting (shipping can be somewhat slow to here/from here) is not an issue... Count me in, and let´s add Venezuela as part of the Caribbean Leg of the world tour! ;\)

Since I dress any way I like on most of the gigs, I´ll try to wear it to the biggest gig available. ;\)

Now we need someone in Asia and Africa.

That would be cool. I know one astronaut. He is retired... but if we get a good world tour going...maybe... just maybe he could find a way...

Done \:D And apologies ! Anyway, US leg will stay as mentioned above. Addition to the UK leg:

Phil W (England)
SeamyD (Ireland)
TimR (England)
DavidMPires (England)

If no other UK people sign up between now and the moment where DavidMPires gets the shirt, it’ll get shipped to jcdlc72 unless Lowdowners from Asia / Africa join in, as it would make more sense to send it there first, I think ? We’ll see :-)

I will start working on a website for this later this weel, which will just be a page on my band's site. I'm not very good at the whole HTML thing so if at any point anyone wants to chime in or has suggestions etc, it'll be more than welcome.

The firewall at work filters out most of the images on this site. I wasn't brave enough to volunteer until I was at home and could actually see what the shirt looks like.

Now that I see it, count me in! Since I live less than 30 minutes from Ross perhaps I'll be the last stop of the tour. What do ya' think Eddie?

Hey, sign me up for the UK leg too!

If we all get pics of ourselves wearing it we could put them up as avatars to give the place a much more tidy, uniform look.

Cheers

Ok, sort of updated planning:

Graham56 will receive it after TimR (UK leg) and - for the moment - is planned to send it back to the States, more specifically to jcdl72, who will send it to Groover, who is currently closing the tour \:\)

We'll see what happens along the way ...

Last picture will be Groover and I having a beer in front of the framed shirt! If it makes it back, I'll frame it with the pics and see if I can get it hung in a couple of the venues I play in.

If this is not enough reason for everyone to ensure that we will actually bring this tour to a good end, I do not know what is !
I know there's a few things gone missing from similar LD tours, so I'm hoping we'll manage to get Ross to hang that picture !

Sounds good to me except... well this will probably come as a shock to everyone but... I don't drink beer. Not a religious thing, I don't consider it a sin or anything, I just don't like it. I know, I know, it's just not right to not like beer, there is definitely something odd about me and I'll be the first to admit it.

So Ross, you hold a beer and I'll have a Coke and a smile as we pose in front of the Lowdown Artwork. Looking forward to it!
