THE JUNIORS GEAR STOLEN myspace.com/junior Our van, trailer, and all of our gear was stolen..
So, as most of you know, we hit the road the weekend of July 28 with Reel Big Fish. We had a great time in Corpus Christi, TX, and had a great show. After the show, meeting fans, and all that good stuff, we headed to Houston to spend the night. We had to be up the next morning, and drive 4 more hours to Dallas to meet up with Reel Big Fish for our Dallas show. Well, we rolled into Houston about 4am Sunday July 29. We went in to go to sleep for about 6 hours before we had to load up and head to Dallas. As we walked ou the next morning, I noticed the van was not where we left it. Adam walked out right behind me and said "Didn't we park the van there?".. Well, it was gone. So, we were stuck, vanless, trailerless, gearless, and in shock as to what had just happened. So, police came, took the info, and we had to get a rent car to come home. We are not down, nor will we be. This is just a minor setback, that will be resolved shortly. Our gear was not insured, because insurance companies will not insure band gear, because of this very reason. there are a few that will, but they are hard to find. More than anhything, it's the principle of the whoile thing. Thos of you that know us know that our amps were all custom made red, with a chrome cow head cut-out on the front. Our gear is very unique, so if you live in Houston and see it, please tell someone. We are a strong group of guys, and have been through more than most bands can ever imagine. We will overcome this, and very quickly. Our management, label, music company friends, and everyone else have been nothing but helpfull and understanding, and will stand behind us 100%. No gigs will be cancelled, nothing like that will happen. Just a bunch of dealing with insurance companies, and basically just the hassle of the whole thing. It sucks, and it's hard to beleive that someone can lay their head down at night knowing they took someones dreams, and hard work. We are honest guys, and will always be that way. We are normal hardworking guys that take this very seriously. We aren't in a band to hook up with groupies, or drink and do drugs. We're not into that. We play, we meet fans, we make new fans, and we rock the fans. That's it. If we were in the room with a bunch of hookers doing coke and gettin drunk then maybe I would think we deserved it, but we were just sleeping completely sober for 6 hours before we had to drive all day. It sucks, why us? But, I can honestly say, that God gave us a strength I didn't know we had. Non of us flew off the hook on a rampage. We just stayed calm. By the time we go home, the theme was "they can take our stuff, but they can;t take our hearts, our dreams, and our drive." On another note. This is the 2nd time all of our gear has been stolen in Houston.. See ya at the top. Kiley STOLEN LIST 1 - Turquoise Lone Star Strat (heas stickers and a metal mudflap girl on the front)

THE RIVALS GEAR STOLEN http://www.myspace.com/rivals Our gear was stolen!!!! Help. Over the past 6 years, Rivals has had its ups and downs… sometimes, like in today's case, the lows are EXTREMELY low. At around 1pm today someone cut the lock off of our trailer in front of our studio and stole about $4,000 of our gear. Tom and I both lost a lot of our stuff, and I even lost my main guitar, a '92 custom Hohner Revelation that I have played at every Rivals show for over 5 years. It's one of my all-time favorite possessions and a key piece in my sound. This is a UNIQUE guitar and it would be easy to spot should someone try to sell it. Details of everything we lost is below. WE ARE OFFERING A SIGNIFICANT CASH REWARD FOR ANYONE WHO RETURNS ANY OF OUR GEAR. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. If you would like to help our cause, there are a few things you can do: 1. Forward this message to your friends. Mention the cash reward. Maybe someone knows something. Maybe someone has seen our gear, or is trying to sell it. 2. Buy a CD from our Web site All money from merch will go to replacing the lost gear in order to get us back to speed. http://www.rivals.ws3. Come to a show. The more friends that come out and support, the closer we can get to raising the money we need. The next one is March 1 @ the Caravan in San Jose. We are hurt by this incredible loss, especially because money cannot replace the sentimental value some of our gear carried. This small side step will not keep Rivals down and we will continue as strong as ever, very soon. Thank you for being a part of our family and all of us SINCERELY appreciate all of your efforts, however small. If you have ANY info or can help in any way, please call Zack at 408-710-5381, or email zack @ rivals.ws

STOLEN Martin D35 serial #403132
Location: Arvada, CA
Contact: riorider@earthlink.net
Stolen in a house burglary in 1983 from Arvada, CO, around Christmas. Arvada police report #83-45909.
Standard D35, no custom features, purchased from Flagstaff Music (AZ) in 1978. Used to have clear plastic 1/2"x1" label inside the body with "Flagstaff Music Co." and their phone number (I don't remember) on it. There was also one of these stickers on the back of the headstock, which I removed. While attempting to remove the sticky residue, it reacted with the finish, removing the finish in a rough 1/2" x 1" mark. I had that refinished - just the mark - but it was still clearly visible, vertically, on the back of the headstock about centered. That and the serial number would be the only identifying marks. Standard Martin black hardshell case with "M" logo.
Any info to this email address and thanks: riorider@earthlink.net
Thanks much,
Phil Brodersen

STOLEN '60's Fender P-Bass with jazz bass pu in bridge gold schaeller tuning keys and a chrome stars guitars bridge. Location: Santa Barbara, CA Contact: stepingstone@earthlink. net I have a friend who had a bass stolen- his email is stepingstone@earthlink. net and his name is randall tico. he's played with everyone and is a great versatile musician and composer and long time friend. he's one of those guys that has always given back to the community and donated his time and talents whenever possible- the bass was extremely sentimental- his main axe- it was a black p-bass from the 60's or maybe 70's- kind of a frankenstein- had a jazz bass pu in the bridge- pretty beat up looking instrument but a great pop/funk machine. Gold schaeller tuning keys and a chrome stars guitars bridge. Picture of stolen bass at http://www.screamingstone.com

STOLEN White Fender Telecaster w/extra toggle, Black Fender Telecaster Serial # Z6134057, Black Fender MusicMaster Location: Tahuya, WA Contact: http://www.myspace.com/thedrewsLast Thursday night (4/24) someone broke into our house in Tahuya, WA, and stole 5 guitars (two of Andrew's favorite guitars and all of Jen's basses). 3 of these were distinctive enough you might recognize them if you see them: (1) - A white Fender Telecaster with a Seymour Duncan pickup and an extra toggle switch on the pick guard. There are 3 decals: On the front there is a circular decal with "THE DREWS" in black letters and a reddish colored EMP sticker. On the back there is a red, white, and blue Native American style picture of a longhorn. The E string side of the treble string anchor (on the head) has been broken off, but still holds the string. This guitar is a family heirloom of great sentimental value. (2) - A black Fender Stratocaster with a custom LR Baggs bridge and pickup. It also has an extra toggle switch on the pick guard. Serial # Z6134057 (3) - A black Fender Musicmaster three quarter size 4-string bass, with a notch along the 5th to 7th fret that occurred when it accidentally fell. If someone tries to sell you any of these, please buy them. We will reimburse. Or if you can't afford to buy them, please at least let us know where you saw them. Most likely they will be in the Seattle, Bremerton, Shelton, Tacoma, or Olympia area, but you never know...

STOLEN BC Rich Warlock Bass Burgandy w/Heiroglyphics Location: Indianapolis, IN Contact: silverwolf15@hotmail.com I just found your site, but don't know if you'd be able to help me. I loaned my BC Rich Warlock bass to a friend for him to learn on, and it and the Coffin Case wound up getting stolen when his apartment was broken into. Problem is, this was about 3 years ago, in mid-2005. Here are some pics and description, if you think there's any hope of it being recovered. Not sure of the year, but it's a 1980s model BC Rich Warlock 4-string bass (triangular headstock like the Bronze series). The original colour was lavender, which can still be seen in a couple spots at the edges of the fretboard and pickups. I've done over 11 hours of custom work on this bass, including re-painting the whole thing. The neck is black and the body is a deep metallic burgandy. All around the outside edge of the body and partway up the neck are heiroglyphics, passages from the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Behind the strings are the heiroglyphs for the Name of Ma'at, which are an ankh and a feather. On the back of the guitar is the Irish Gaelic phrase "Bona na Croin," which means "Neither Collar nor Crown." All of this detailing is done in gold. The Coffin case had a red lining and also had my strap in there, which was a fuzzy white leopard print. I don't think I had the references that I used when I was customising it, though I can't really remember. I don't have any documentation to prove it's mine, other than the pictures, as I bought it from a friend of an ex. I would dearly love to have this back, if it's at all possible. --- Pics of the stolen bass are on my site http://www.screamingstone.com~Kat Moran Indianapolis, IN
