I saw this list, went back a few days later to pick up the issue that it was in and the issue with Brad Paisley was out by then. Anyone have this list that would be willing to share it?

Hmm, I will say Seven Nation Army isn't exactly the song to liven up a crowd. If it has to be anything with the White Stripes, it might as well be Little Cream Soda. It's loud, raucous, and catchy.

Sorry SoCal, try to ignore it's prescence. \:D

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I can't get away from them!

I know that when my band played Roundabout (Yes) or anything by Boston, the dance floor was P-A-C-K-E-D (really!).

And people did dance to Roundabout! \:D

"Secret Agent Man", Johnny Rivers. It didn't matter if the place was already rockin', or nothing was clicking yet, whenever we played this one the party level went up 3 or 4 notches everytime. Of course that was in the 80's but hey....., some of the other sure-things for us were "Shout", "Louis Louis" and most of the Beatles songs we played(strangely absent from the list). "Love Me Two Times" was also a ringer,

Jim

I am surprised no one has said "Freebird" or "Gimme Three Steps".

Always remember that youre unique. Just like everyone else.

Thank you, Smirk! Last bar band I played in (10 or 15 years ago), we made an attempt to not include Cocaine in our set list. Two songs into the second set of our first gig, the crowd was yelling for it. So we launched into an unrehearsed verion of Cocaine. I was a little shocked that it wasn't on the list.

The place was dead..no one on the dance floor...until....

"You Really Got Me" by the Kinks

Who can sit still for this song? Quite possibly the single greatest rock song ever.

End Over End - Foo Fighters (subtle intro into loud in the face dance pace)
Come On - Black Crows (also a good ass mover)

A couple of songs that I have noticed that help liven a dead crowd are:

"Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks
"Love Shack" by the B-53s
"Bad Bad Leroy Brown" by Jim Croce

Michelle

My new baby is a 2002 Collectors by Ovation

I think this is a cool song title -- "Can't Remember to Forget"
