Hey so if you go to http://www.basstabs.net/ and register, they have a tool that converts notes into bass tabs. It's kinda cumbersome but its free and will be converted so you can see on your computer screen Richy J

I noticed there was no homework as well. I like the assignments, most of them are very challenging for me.

In the key of G, bars 29 and 30 go |Am7 |Cm6 D7| The Am7 and D7 are straightforward - iim7 and V7 but the Cm6? Is it related to A half-diminished so an inverted iim7b5? That's it exactly. Is the next chord Gm?

Jonathan, Regarding bebop scales - you are right that you can add chromatic notes wherever sounds right but although the minor (dorian) bebop scale you print in BP sounds good and is good, it's not the typical one that has been associated with dorian scale/chords.
Usually the bebop player might practise the V7 bebop scale over both the iim7 and the V7 chord so giving a dorian bebop scale of 1,2,b3,3,4,5,6,b7 with a natural third added to the dorian scale between the flat third and fourth degrees. That's the one that David Baker, Mark Levine and other theorists write about.
This puts the minor third, fourth and sixth on the strong beats which reflects what often is often heard when you listen to bebop solos over minor chords. It also simplifies ii Vs as the ii minor bebop scale and the V dominant bebop scales contain exactly the same notes.
Of course you are writing for applications other than jazz (maybe with less ii V patterns)so, I guess the 1, 2, b3, 4, 5, 6, b7, natural7 giving prominence to the chord tones is just as cool.

I think the monthly reply is very nice. But I don't able to understand that homework they are discussing. Please help me in this regard.
