Actually...if I just focus on this Guitar Player forum...
...I can't EVER once recall any member really objecting loudly about how much he or she was offended when someone used an expletive...as long as it wasn't specifically directed at them.
I've only seen you guys make objections...but hey, I guess that's what you feel you are here for...that's your shtick.
Just one of these days…I would like to hear someone raise an objection BEFORE you guys jump in do it.
It would make your comments a bit more believable.

Please consider carefully how freely you give those out.
There’s a LOT of “cursing” going on all the time…it’s just hidden behind acronyms and lots of creative spelling and use of special symbols to camouflage the “forbidden” words.
So…if you’re REALLY going to take issues…then do it in some more balanced manner and not in this very one-sided manner…if you know what I mean.
I never received any PM about the matter when it happened…so why the personal warning NOW…??????

Also...as long as there are moderators on the MP forums who are as….ahhhh…."colorful" in some of their commentary from time to time...you're might have a tough time warning/kicking out members if the MP Forum rules don't apply to moderators too.

Though it sure would have been nice if you could have specifically pointed all those moments out to me "as they happened"...instead what appears to be in one lump sum now, ‘cuz then if it really is as you say...it might not have gotten as deep as you seem to think it is.

Sure, I may be a PITA from time to time...but I really DON'T make an effort to bust the Mods chops "at every turn" and to "generally be a troll".

I've been saying it for a long time. I don't try to take what happens on the forums to seriously...and I don't try to be too serious.
Most times...I have tongue-in-cheek...even when I am responding to someone who is really trying to go at with me.

i do occasionally see you holding your ground on issues or pushing a button or two but i don't think you are angry as it may sometimes appear.
i respect Craig and Reif, and technically they are only doing thier jobs.
i do have two children who frequent the forum occasionally and i may prefer them to not hear certain things but i don't expect the whole world to be watered down. i try to make them understand that there are appropriate behaviors. and sometimes they will see or hear things that are inappropriate. but by talking to them and helping them understand, i trust they can be themselves even if the crowd around them is out of line.
my main goal is for my children to respect people and do the right thing even if they do it alone.
i think everyone here is pretty cool and i like the differences in each and everyones personality. i just hope we all can see when we are poking people too hard.

For the record, I have never thought that anything Miro did was out of anger. It's just the constant questioning and badgering over the rules in public, really causes trouble and gets folks riled up.

If someone is upset with a rule and wants it changed, PM Reif, Jim or I. Don't drag it out into a great big, online fight, that causes a disturbance.
