This is sort of spam, although I don't benefit from it.

A certain online retailer whose name sounds similar to Physician's Trend is selling Epiphone Collegiate guitars for $99.00. In my opinion, they are finally priced correctly, but the draw is the paintjob.

These are the logos they have left:

Just an FYI in case there are some alums here. Willie, it's a shame there's no NWU...I would've gotten one for you and my wife. Maybe Roger does custom paint...

I reviewed one of these some time ago.

They're not horrible.

If it came with P-90s I'd get my first piece of OSU swag... I'm about due after 10 years of being transplanted here.

For $99.00 "not horrible" is high praise indeed.

Haha... well, it was playable and set up decently, but it had extremely "blah" tone and felt like a pixie stick in my hand... I was tempted to rip off the top and see if there was any sugary goodness inside.

Where are the Michigan Wolverines?

I was on a team there (swimming).

Go Blue!

or the Cal Bears? That's where I actually graduated.

Would you guys actually BUY such a thing? I saw them and immediately thought of those 1920s college students with their fur coats and ukeleles. \:P
