Congratulations, Super 8!   I've got two daughters and I can certainly give you some advice: TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES!!! It's true, they really grow up fast! In fact, it seems that my daughters were born just YESTERDAY, yet here's a picture I took just last week:  Can you BELIEVE IT??  Neither can I! At the risk of sounding really old, oh what the hell, I'm gonna say it anyhow. You're kids will grow up before you know it. My youngest daughter is getting married in two weeks,(she's 21). It's almost scary how fast the time goes, so enjoy your kids while they're young. I think I'll go take my Viagra and geritol and see if my wife wants to try for some kind of record for the oldest woman giving birth.

Thanks SO MUCH for letting me share this moment with you all. You guys (girls too) ROCK! As promised, here are some pictures. I've tried to scale them back a bit for those of you without a highspeed connection. Also, I know this has kinda been done recently, but you are all encouraged to post pics of your own kids or grand kids -or perhaps strangers kids that you wish were your own...  Part of enjoying looking at babies is remembering how special your own are. So by all means, please post some pics! Here are mine...

Paul Yikes! Give the boy time, Pauldil! I figure, by the time Super 8's kids are old enough to appreciate Great America, it will be so big you won't have enough time in the day to ride everything, even if you're the only family there! I grew up about 20 min. away. Haven't actually gone to the park in over a decade, but I have to pass it every time we visit the inlaws. It was huge then, now it's downright ridiculous! (I mean, we're not talking Orlando or Las Vegas... Great America and Gurnee Mills are the only attractions out there. )

Congrats! I just had my first a month ago. If you think you knew about sleepless nights from being in the music biz - you have NO idea! Enjoy it though.

Heh... Well, no its not an accident or surgery, StrongBad. That's what you get from excessively hacking at your fingers with cuticle scissors. I'm guessing it started when I was a kid and developed calluses from playing guitar, and over time it has developed into something I'm usually not even aware I'm doing. Kind of embarrassing really... I guess if it's THAT noticeable, I should maybe try to get it under control or something.

And I think that pic...it was just the way you were holding your hand. I've seen weird camera shots, where it looked like someone had a guitar growing out of their head or didn't have an arm or something. I think that's what happened there.
