whitefang
Not only a well respected performer, he also did pretty good at acting. Also did a lot of voice-over work in television commercials, often providing the singing voice for some ads that had people thinking it was RAY CHARLES doing the vocals. His lead off spot in WOODSTOCK is one of the best performances in the film. Rest easy, brother. We'll miss you. Whitefang I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left! desertbluesman
When Richie Havens played he was all in, when he left the stage there was nothing left to give. Awesome performer. I was at that original Woodstock event but not till a day after Richie Havens played, I saw the film several times afterwords, and the best of the best was Richie Havens. RIP Richie you done real good..... dbm If it sounds good, it is good !! http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=143231&content=music
