Would a room that is 14x13 be large enough for a home studio where I will be recording acoustic guitar tracks?? I know small rooms are terrible because I formerly tried recording in a room that was about 11x11 and got terrible results. Will the slightly larger dimensions of 14x13 make a difference?? Of course I'd use good bass traps in the corners, etc. Would this work??

How high is the ceiling? If it is 8',that gives you 1457cu.ft..That's quite a bit shy of 2500cu.ft.,but,the room ratio is a good one.
Any room that your comfortable in is good for recording with enough acoustic treatment.

As much as anything, the fact that it isn't a perfect square will help. 11x11 is bad not just because it's small but because the modes are the same in both directions which literally doubles the problems.

You have to be willing to experiment with playing posisiton and mic placement, and acoustic treatment.

I got some pretty respectable acoustic guitar tracks out of a 10x10x9 room once I treated it and learned where it was best to record and play.
