Ok here are the three rooms that im gonna make. I tried to keep all of them rectangle, but i couldnt follow the old greek acoustics formla due to size restrictions mainly on the heighth of each room. But anyway does anyone have any good layout plans for this room that differ from mine. Or if its fine please give me an idea of to use for sound control. In the control room and live room I plan on using some kind of wood panel for the wall with auralux wall panels and bass traps and wood tiles on the floor with an acoustic tile cieling. I was wondering if you people have any ideas on mic/insturment placing in the live room for a single musician and all the way up to a bassplayer / guitar player / drummer / lead guitarist or vocalist in the isolation booth playing at once as a band. Plexiglass windows will be 1/2 on the inside window (to the control room) and 3/8 (tilted) on the Live and Isolation rooms. My shed is stripped and im gonna sheetrock it and install a cieling and a pier and beam floor. All will be double sheetrocked and insulated well. Whats a good insulation to use and what kind of wood is best for floor and panels? Where to apply the aurlux 1'x 1'x 1" square panels and 1' bass traps? I've got 56 wall panels and 8 of the bass traps. All electric work will be done professionly and all carpentry work will be solid and air sealed as well as possible. Any Ideas are greatly appricated. Thank you

for starters I would take out the iso booth and make that whole room the control room.
What kind of recording are you going to be doing in this room, full bands, just yourself? The reason I ask is if you are just recording yourself then I would just make it one big room. But just like all things, there are different ways to go about this.
