Hi!
I am very new here & would like some feedback.

I Produce Music out of my Project / Midi Programing Studio & have NO Acoustic Treatment.

In the past I have neglected Acoustic Treatment. I am now ready to UTILISE!

I have done some research into accoustics & am very interested in the 'Acoustic Sciences Corporation' ASC Products / Tube Traps. http://www.acousticsciences.com/
I am very interested in the 'Quick Sound Field' http://www.asc-studio-acoustics.com/qsf.htm
Also the Attack Wall for Mixing:
http://www.asc-studio-acoustics.com/attk.htm
I am in Awe as to the sucess People such as Bruce Swedien have had with such products over the years.

I wonder if I get these 2 will I have enough to fulfill my acoustic needs? Will I still need Huge Bass Traps in the Corners / Matrix Panels / Sound Proofing in the walls ???

I really just need a good acoustic space for vocals & acoustic guitar at the moment (An Attack Wall for Mixing would be nice).

Please give advise on my current situation - I hope this is enough info - Also your experience / opinion on ASC Products.

Thank you :p

This may not be the right forum to get your non bios answer in.. Ethan Winer ownes Real Traps and is against any tube trap out there... You may want to go to http://forum.studiotips.com/viewforum.php?f=1 and ask the question.. As I own a acoustic company also I can't comment on there product... I will say that a lot of people have used it and like it..

The ASC products are good - I think Ethan would say the same thing.

From personal experience, I'll say that for your particular situation, I think there are better options for you than the ASC Tubes.

ANY product, ASC included, that is going to provide decent bass control is going to be 'large bass traps in the corners' as you say. The ASC tubes that go down decently are 16" in diameter.

Being in a dual use room, you may want to consider the Real Traps since they have limited high frequency absorbtion so you'll not kill the room for recording.

Your other option is to build some of the DIY bass panels (membrane absorbers) linked to in the FAQ.
