These are the specs of my room. My "special" issues are first that the area to the far left (the front wall) has a celing height of 6'6". After that it pops up to 8'3' to start the slope of the common ceiling line.
1. Is this layout the best for this room?
2. After the layout I need help on ideal locations of the traps. With all the options I feel like there's no sure direction.

Well, the first thing I'd do is flip the whole thing 180 degrees left to right. This gives you much better front symmetry and also gets you into an area with decent ceiling height.

I think that's a much better starting point. Just understand with the couch that close to the wall, they'll be getting some pretty uneven bass. Not a big deal though as your seat is the primary concern.

Any ideas for the "new" corner I gotta deal with by the door after flipping the layout?

Just hit the wall with some 2" probably to kill reflections. That's not so much a place to deal with the bottom end.
