did anyone consider 3 mm plexiglas instead of plywood for the front of a bass trap ?

thank you
but I did a search before and didn't find anything concerning plexiglas instead of plywood, just something on plexiglas windows.I suspect it to be better than plywood for low frequency responses while reflecting the higher once. I'll give it a try and let you know.

I'd think it would work the same way - just compensating for the difference in mass. The one advantage it might have is that it is a single material and single layer as opposed to plywood that is multi-layers of potentially different mass, glue, etc.

Let us know how it turns out and if there are any differences compared to what the formulas say it should do.
