I found some rigid fiberglass insulation in my area, but they tell me that it has foil facing on one side. It's two inches thick.

If I wrap it in burlap and put the foil side toward the wall, will it still work for room treatment? Should I use two of them stacked together for bass traps, or would it be better using them for wall panels? I already have fiberglass panels in the corners for bass traps, but I could use them on the walls and use this two inch stuff for bass traps.

I guess what I'm wondering is does foil faced fiberglass have any uses in acoustics? What uses?
