Hello! I was wondering if the panels can be angled to help create non parallel facing walls. I imagine that this will effect the resonant frequency. Would it work though still?

Also I noticed that you Ethan replied to someone about a Deeper bass trap that uses a 4 x 8 sheet of 1/2" plywood. Would the fiberglass beneath then need to have a third support added in the middle so it didn't collapse the airspace beneath?

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Sure, split the difference so for a low-bass trap that would have used 1x4 wood you'll instead use 3-1/2 inches on one side and 4-1/2 on the other.

Only if you also use large sheets of fiberglass. If supports are needed you'll know soon enough during assembly!

Thanks Ethan! I'll give those angles a try.

Regarding the supports, I guess my question was whether the airspace beneath the 703 board needed to be uninterrupted by a 3rd support. For example if that entire area was helping to create some resonant frequency. Sounds like it's a non-issue.

I appreciate your time! Thanks for being so generous, (and patient!). cP
