My old studio was destroyed by hurricane Charley and I am rebuilding from the ground up. This will be a stand-alone building on my property. What is the best construction for a small studio (22'x12') for sound insulation? Concrete block or wood frame? I've got one contractor who is telling me that frame construction using 2x6 instead of 2x4 with the right insulation is just as good as concrete block.

Are there any accoustical differences to consider?
