I'm curious about this pedal, anybody tried it? I think i'll be getting a new delay in the not too distant future...

I am not going to buy any delay absent a "tap tempo" feature unless it is a really creamy, classic analog one - but still even those can get a tad messy time wise, donchathink?

A tap tempo would be a nice, but is not a requirement for what I do. I usually only use a bit of slap back. Despite that fact I'm tempted to buy an uber delay like an Akai Headrush or something with looping capability. The more capable delays give more creative possibility, but in the end a thick creamy delay would win over features...

Just took a quick look at a couple sites to see something about this item but couldn't find it.
What's special about the Red Repeater?

Nothing really, other than a tone control to darken the repeats. I've had a few delays with high cut switches, I'd like a knob to get exactly what I'm after. Four knobs and a footswitch and a pretty competetive price, interesting enough to look into.

The Carl Martin pedals I've played (compressor, chorus) have sounded absolutely gorgeous.

Haven't seen this one, though.

Don't know about the delay, but I have a tap-tempo and sometimes I wish I had an analog knob to turn. It's a bit harder to tap it quick enough to get a slapback going There, I said it. You may return to topic.
