FunkKeysStuff Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 In October I'm making a West Coast trip to do a small series of concerts and master classes on New Orleans piano -- teaching the styles of players like Professor Longhair, Dr. John, James Booker, Henry Butler, Harry Connick, etc. I've got stuff booked in the Bay Area and Portland, but I would love to set up something in or near L.A. (and possibly other West Coast locations as well). Thing is, I have few contacts in the area. So if anyone in those parts knows of any schools (conservatories, universities, or what have you) that might be interested in hosting such an event, I would greatly appreciate any info you could pass along, either in this thread or via PM.
