Reif, sweet playing - I've subscribed to your Youtube channel - I need to get my butt over to the other forum more often.

Here's some reggae-jazz-fusion from my gig last Saturday:

Well, now I've got it in the place. Heh. This is it--

I had put up a couple of videos on youtube, and I was looking for somebody to critique it. If somebody could listen to them a bit, that would be cool. I've been playing for two years now, and so if you see anything that looks like it could be fixed (besides my economy picking habit, I'm working on that) Let me know. (:
I have Canon and Eruption covered.

Thanks!

Kirk sounds good. If you want to improve your interpretation of Eruption you should check out a thread posted here earlier this week. It was about playing Eruption.

I have to say the guy who is on the Youtube video has the best interpretation of Eruption I have heard, and has detailed explanations of everything. I recommend you watch it. Go to page 2 or 3 to find it in this forum. Eddie is more complex than you think he is--especially when he was 20 or 21. Lots of vibe and complexities. Thats why he is considered a great by older players.

You have to check each song. Most of them cannot download, only play. You must usually pay the writer for a download.
By the way, I visited Odesa last year, I really loved it! maybe I`ll go again in may, not sure yet.

Greetings, fine people!

Please lend me your ears for a few minutes and listen to this guitar song I made:

And since I'm a struggling musician trying to survive, I'll appreciate all positive comments and evaluations.

Hope you like it!

Warm regards,

Hey guys I put a new song up!

Gods of Harvest

It's called "I Can Be a Graveyard."

No shredding or crazy fretwork...more shoegazy pop music really...a lot of soundscaping and tone shaping.

I'd love to hear some feedback.
Thanks guys!
Matt

Has potential. thu

Can't make out any of the lyrics...very murky sounding.

Just for you Miro (cos I respect your opinion and I always tend to mix my vox low):

When she cries she'll appologize but she won't hide her face. Life's slow tide...sleep tonight. Children do stranger things. I will sing the beauty of trees! Humingbirds and honeybees! The world all around us is moving and moving, talking and dying and laughing and crying. People are starting to put out their gardens and find God somewhere. Refugees of the sea. Sun and shield, please protect me. Please escape my company to waters high above the sky. I will sing the beauty of trees! Humingbirds and honeybees! The world all around us is moving and moving, talking and dying and laughing and crying. People are starting to put out their gardens and find God somewhere. Whatever we say, it's never too late...neighbors and friends of dead relatives. People are starting to put out their gardens and I can be a graveyard.

Nice playing on Out of Nowhere phil. Kind of reminds me of a Stevie Wonder rythm backdrop for the guitar solo.

Nice rythm playing from the guitarist.

Hey gang! Long time no post . A friend on Mixposure.com asked me to do some vocals on this track and then my wife added in some bass. Have to love internet collabs!
