A few years back I was bidding on a Mesa Triple Rectifier and unfortunately lost out in the end. The head had been in a car crash and flew about the cabin suffering several major injuries.
My thought, and that of the winning bidder was to take on the rebuild and come out with a terrific amp.
Kevin Walz, the lucky guy who got the amp, was kind enough to follow up my inquiries by sending me photos of the finished product.
I think it looks great with that vintage Legend cabinet. So for those of you who've wanted a custom cabinet perhaps he'll entertain an offer.
... kidding.
