I'm sitting here typing a responce to a post and the power went out. Complete blackness... I live deep out in nowhere land. Can't see neighbours or any lights.

I'm using my laptop fully charged and of course the phone needs no power!

wonder if the Republicans are trying to get back at those up in the north east with another blackout.

But only if the laptop were made of wood, and the Hamster had been well fed...

Just goes to show you, we need to keep those kerosene powered and horse-drawn computers handy, just in case...

If your Roland Cube has fresh batteries, you're good to go! We don't need no stinkin' power plants...

I tell you what, I love my UPS ("Uninteruptable Power Supply") battery back-up. I've had some very similar experiences!
