I am just beginning to start gigging with my band and I am lost when it comes to getting some sort of amplifier setup appropriate for gigging. Right now i have a 12" and a 15" speaker but neither provide enough power for a gig setting. I'm playing on a 7-string bass so I need an amp that can handle lows and highs. Our style ranges from jazz to hard rock. Any suggestions? My price range is up to around $1200.

For $1200, a good way to go would be a Peavy 410 cabinet and a Peavey Mark series head.
