Hi,
Does anyone know what guitar effect was used on the rythym guitar in the 70's song "No Matter What" by Badfinger? The guitar sounds almost like a sitar but it could also be a Leslie. Whatever it is it sounds great. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated! Thank You
Chris

Dollars to donuts it was a Leslie. Our band does that song. I use a chorus. I'm not about to lug a Leslie around.

Chris Ron Frey of frey guitars here
I think that might have been a vibratone
a leslie type cab that was made by fender
Srv used them so did Harrison onlet it be sessions since badfinger was helped quite a bit by Geroge that might be your answer.
If by chance you find one be careful not to blow it up they dont take alot of power at all..Hope this helps. Ron Frey Frey Guitars
