Welcome. Everyone here is nice and you can learn alot about music and so on. I would stay away from the political threads, people seem to take the gloves off and those threads are pretty much a knock down drag out. The SSS is a good place to hang, also check out some of the other places on the site, guitar, bass, and so on. Good luck and welcome.

Damn, I know I scare people, but usually not so quickly. It usually takes several weeks before people realize what a truly odd and perhaps frightening person I am.

Yep, CoQuitoKing is gone, but not forgotten. May I suggest the we all bow our heads for a moment in contemplative silence, thinking about how we can make the next CoQuito feel even more welcome than the original, almost irreplacable CoQuito.

CoQuito had a dream, and he spoke to us in a language we could all understand. CoQuito asked not what his country could do for him, but only he could do for his country. Four score and seven years ago, CoQuito came to the SSS forums with a simple post. And on that day that will live in infamy, CoQuito realized that when baseball is no longer fun, it's no longer a game, and so he's played his last game of ball.

Although I wasn't a member of the Forums when CoQuitoKing was here, from reading this thread, I've grown to know him as the brother I never had, the son I never had, the pet hamster I never had. My only experience with him was in a dingy bar in Livingston, Montana, one hot summer evening in 1998. He walked in, looked at me, and we both nodded to each other in that all knowing sort of way. That's the last I ever saw of him.
I know that everyone in here has bonded with old CoQuitoKing, treating him as a family member, and I know you are all as devastated as I at his sudden and lasting disappearance.
