I'm using Sonar 4 PE as my DAW, and have been using many of the Soundforge 7.0 effects as plugins in Sonar. Just recently they've began to cause problems - although only half of them are causing problems.

When I use them in Sonar (I haven't tried them in Soundforge yet), many of them are causing skips and pops in the audio. Some, such as the Graphic EQ, only does when I switch the "quality" feature from something other than Medium.

What could be the problem? I haven't added anything new nor changed any configurations to my knowledge.

If you had them work at all, you're lucky.

Most of Soundforge's plugs are only designed to be used in Soundforge itself as intensive off-line processors, not as inserts in a sequencer.

Just the way they make 'em....

I think most likely they are CPU intensive and causing CPU overload. Try increasing your audio buffers in the audio preferences folder of Sonar.

Thanks for the suggestions. As a side note, at one time they all functioned perfectly fine in Sonar
